Aquestes estampes urbanes plenes de lirisme són les que han convertit Levitt en una artista única, fora dels convencionalismes de la seva època. Hi retrata sobretot nens pertanyents a les classes més baixes de la societat, però no hi ha tristesa, ni crítica social, sinó innocència; ens mostra nens feliços que juguen, ens ensenya la cara amable d'aquests barris.

Aquesta casa havia estat una fàbrica de gel. L'edifici, d'estil historicista, és de l'any 1919. La composició de la façana s'inspira en els grans casals del gòtic català, tot i que algunes finestres es poden qualificar de neoromàniques. L'element més característic és, però, la famosa "punxa", una torre angular de planta circular amb corona cònica guarnida amb detalls ceràmics. Està inclòsa en l’inventari del Patrimoni Arquitectònic de Catalunya.
