Mai el vaig veure pintar però sí que vaig conèixer el seu estudi al barri de Montreuil (París). Estava ple d'embalums i d'enormes caixes on guardar-los i transportar-los. Era un espai gran pel que ens podíem permetre com a joves artistes. Vaig saber que durant un temps va treballar de muntador en un important museu de la ciutat. El vaig imaginar transportant caixes pels passadissos d'aquell museu mentre els guàrdies de seguretat dormien, mentre les obres dormien. Només caixes i a dins, embalums. Poc importa de quin tipus d'embalums es tractava.

In 2010, during the 15 days of the 57th edition of the Maria Canals International Music Competition, the Association placed 26 upright pianos in 26 spots (squares, streets and gardens) of the 10 districts in Barcelona. Several families and institutions donated the pianos, which were repaired and painted by young artists from the School of Fine Arts, and other social groups.

L’any 2010, durant els 15 dies de la 57a edició del Concurs Internacional de Música Maria Canals, l’associació va repartir 26 pianos de paret en 26 llocs (places, carrers i jardins) dels 10 districtes de la ciutat de Barcelona. Els pianos, que van ser donats per famílies i institucions diverses que no feien servir els pianos, van ser reparats i pintats per joves artistes (Escola de Belles Arts) i col·lectius socials. Aquesta acció, va ser ideada per l’artista britànic Luke Jerram, que a través del seu projecte “Play me, I’m yours”, va fer aquesta acció posteriorment a altres ciutats del món.

També ha gravat àlbums com Hiroo Sato Plays 3 Sonatas o Piano Recital. Actualment, continua la seva formació amb els mestres Elisso Virsaladze, Kazuko Sumi i Minoru Nojima.
