He argued that Confucius Institute should mean more than language teaching and cultural activities, and it should be part of the university life. Understanding and research should be mutual. It echoed a hot discussion of participants. Especially after a ten-year’s development, CIs should play a more important role in academic exchange and cooperation.

3.1 The CAPM states that a company’s cost of capital is equal to the risk-free rate of return (Rf), typically the yield on a ten-year treasury bond, plus a premium to reflect the extra risk of the investment (or its Beta). The exact rate of return on equity will depend on the perception of risk on the part of equity holders. Outside the coal business, Mitsubishi had acquired the Yoshioka Copper Mine in 1872, when Yataro was president. Machine drills were introduced in 1881, thereby clearing the way for the redevelopment of mines across Japan. Yanosuke aggressively pursued the acquisition of mines. Mitsubishi purchased seven mines over a ten-year span starting in the late 1870s and an additional 40 mines during the following ten-year period. Production was dramatically increased as new technologies were introduced for excavation, cargo hauling and coal refining.

关于金属矿山，在岩崎弥太郎任三菱总裁的时代，于1872年首先收购了位于冈山县的吉冈矿山。1881年凿岩机的引进，使大规模的采矿成为可能，并且使各地矿山的重新开发在技术上迎来了曙光。岩崎弥之助在收购矿山方面采取了积极的措施，在1877年至1886年期间先后收购了7处矿山，又于1887年至1896年期间收购了尾去泽、猿渡、槙峰、面谷等40处矿山，并在矿井开凿、矿内运输和金属冶炼等工序中不断引进新的技术，使矿业生产实现了飞跃性发展。尾去泽矿山的历史可追溯至日本的庆长时代（1596年～1615年），由岩崎弥之助收购以后，作为近代矿山持续开工长达90年之久。
