4.目 前 如 申 請 人 填 寫 的 未 經 加 工 鑽 石 商 登 記 申 請 書 並 無 錯 誤 ， 所 需 的 審 理 時 間 為 申 請 人 遞 交 申 請 書 及 繳 付 登 記 費 用 後 的 一 個 完 整 工 作 天 。 由 2006 年 7 月 1 日 起 ， 業 內 人 士 如 真 正 緊 急 需 要 辦 理 未 經 加 工 鑽 石 商 登 記 ， 但 受 有 關 櫃 台 在 星 期 六 停 止 辦 公 所 影 響 ， 可 使 用 本 署 新 的 特 快 登 記 服 務 。 業 內 人 士 請 以 書 信 形 式 或 以 附 件 一 (pdf 格 式) 的 表 格 提 出 特 快 登 記 服 務 申 請 。 有 關 申 請 須 有 充 分 理 由 及 文 件 ， 證 明 未 能 預 計 的 緊 急 情 況 ( 若 適 用 者 ) 。 如 申 請 妥 當 無 誤 ， 本 署 會 在 業 內 人 士 遞 交 申 請 書 及 繳 付 登 記 費 用 後 的 下 一 個 工 作 天 ， 以 書 面 方 式 告 知 申 請 人 獲 編 配 的 登 記 號 碼 。
