Prošlogodišnjim voditeljima radionice, Aleksandri Čereković (FER) i Darku Masnecu (ALU), ove godine pridružuje se Mario von Rickenbach (Umjetničko sveučilište u Zürichu). Mario von Rickenbach umjetnik je i dizajner videoigara nastanjen u Zürichu (Švicarska) koji će osim mentoriranja ovom prigodom polaznicima održati svakodnevna predavanja o različitim aspektima dizajna videoigara te prezentirati javnosti radove s radionice. “We refuse justifications of armed rattles as protective measures from the current humanitarian crisis and presenting refugees as national security threats. In this situation, we find the plan of amending the Law on State Border Control to be politically irresponsible, as it is not in accordance with our constitutional responsibilities and we do not want it to be misused for the sake of winning political points”, warn the organisations.
Istovremeno, niti Hrvatska niti ostale zemlje na tzv. Balkanskoj ruti nisu uložile značajnije napore za okončanje rata u Siriji, niti su pokazale interes za radom na integraciji ljudi u Europu. Organizacije podsjećaju da RH još uvijek nije ispunila preuzetu obavezu relokacije izbjeglica te da je uplatila samo simboličan novčani iznos u međunarodni fond za Siriju. Dok Hrvatska za humanitarnu pomoć Siriji i njezinim susjednim zemljama uplaćuje svega 200.000 eura godišnje od 2016. do 2020., troškovi slanja vojske na granici bili bi višestruki - taj odnos govori o tome kako ne radimo na zaustavljanju ratova, nego na zaustavljanju ljudi.
