In the issue of user testing in cartography we have to consider at least three main points of view - user and his skills, test situation and task as itself (i.e.
what is asked
to be done). Based on these three basic parameters there is established test situation, in which we focus on the participants (or user) performance when he or she interacts with specific given task.

Při uživatelském testování v kartografii je nezbytné zvažovat při nejmenším tří úhly pohledu -pozici uživatele a jeho vlastnosti a schopnosti , hledisko situace a hledisko tasku, tedy řešeného úkolu jako takového. Na základě těchto tří paramtrů je utářena testová situace, v jejímž rámci se zaměřujeme na výkon participanta při interakci s daným taskem. Cílem přednášky bylo představení specifik uživatelského testování v kartografii a byly prezentovány příklady z praxe.
