L’école N3 Manuk Abeghyan a été fondée en 1933. Au début des années 1960, par l’initiative du directeur de l’école S. Bochyan a été lancé le programme de l’enseignement des mathématiques avancées. A cette occasion, en 1962 l’éminent professeur des mathématiques Samson Daghbachyan a été invité à l’école. Il est l’un des uniques pédagogues ayant reçu deux hauts titres d’Etat : Maître du Peuple de l’URSS et Héros du travail socialiste.
