41. The minimum age required by this provision for admission to employment in prescribed occupations regarded as dangerous or unhealthy, which was not specified by the Charter, has been fixed at 18 years in the Revised Charter. This provision has been inspired by the Council of the European Communities Directive 94/33 on the protection of young people at work.

I ride around a lot on my BMX and visit the locality. Distances are short here compared with my home city, Madrid, and the routes are good for bikes. It doesn’t take long to get anywhere and familiarise yourself with the town. On streets and squares that aren’t too busy, I can do tricks on my BMX. That way, I meet other young people. At work and on the street, I always go up to people and just start talking to them. They’re a bit surprised sometimes, but they soon let themselves get drawn into a conversation and they think it's good. Lots of them have already been to Spain, that makes it easier to get talking. In the evenings, I like going to clubs and discos or to parties with my friends. I’m really looking forward to summer. I like being out and about and with people.

Je me promène beaucoup sur mon BMX et je visite la région. En comparaison avec Madrid, ma ville natale, les trajets ici sont courts et adaptés aux cyclistes. Tout est facile d'accès et on découvre la ville. Quand il n'y a pas grand monde dans les rues ou sur les places, je peux faire des acrobaties en BMX. Ça me permet de rencontrer d'autres jeunes. Que ce soit dans l'entreprise ou dans la rue, je vais toujours vers les gens et je leur parle, sans trop me poser de question. Parfois ils sont un peu surpris, mais la plupart du temps ils se laissent prendre au jeu et trouvent ça sympa. Beaucoup sont déjà allés en Espagne, c'est donc facile d'engager une conversation. Le soir, je vais dans des clubs, des discothèques ou des fêtes avec mes amis. J'ai vraiment hâte à l'été. J'aime être dehors et être entouré.
