Bewaffnete Androiden kennen wir schon aus dem Kino, aber jetzt sieht es so aus, als hätte die technische Realität die Fiktion eingeholt. Der russische humanoide Roboter mit dem Namen FEDOR, auch der „Terminator“ genannt, wurde so trainiert, dass er aus beiden Händen Schüsse abfeuern kann.  Er wurde zwar für Rettungseinsätze entwickelt, es gab aber auch bereits Ideen für militärische Anwendungen, sodass die Vorstellung einer ganzen Armee aus derartigen KI-Anwendungen in den Bereich des Möglichen rückt.
