"Those who say they want less Europe should be answered with more Europe", said President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, speaking at the ceremony in Frankfurt to mark the end of the final term of the President of the European Central Bank Jean-Claude Trichet, who will hand over the baton to Mario Draghi. On this occasion Mr Van Rompuy thanked the outgoing President and spoke about five lessons that he thinks Europe

«Όσοι λένε ότι θέλουν λιγότερη Ευρώπη θα πρέπει να λάβουν ως απάντηση περισσότερη Ευρώπη» ανέφερε ο Πρόεδρος του Ευρωπαϊκού Συμβουλίου κ. Herman Van Rompuy, ομιλώντας στην τελετή στη Φρανκφούρτη που σηματοδότησε το πέρας της τελευταίας θητείας του Προέδρου της Ευρωπαϊκής Κεντρικής Τράπεζας, κ. Jean-Claude Trichet, ο οποίος θα παραδώσει τη σκυτάλη στον κ. Mario Draghi. Με την ευκαιρία αυτή, ο κ. Van Rompuy ευχαρίστησε τον απερχόμενο Πρόεδρο και μίλησε για πέντε διδάγματα που πιστεύει ότι η Ευρώπη θα πρέπει να αντλήσει από τις δυσκολίες που αντιμετωπίζει.
