उदाहरण:- एक गाँव में सांग (स्वांग) मण्डली आई। कई दिन सांग किया। पुराने जमाने में सांग के नाटक में पुरूष ही स्त्राी का अभिनय किया करते थे। एक लड़का अपने साथी के साथ पहली बार सांग देखने गया। सांग में एक लड़के को लड़की के वस्त्रा पहना रखे थे। छाती भी युवा लड़की की तरह बना रखी थी। प्रथम बार गए लड़के ने अपने साथी (जो कई बार सांग देख चुका था) से कहा कि देख! कितनी संुदर लड़की है। साथी बोला, यह लड़की नहीं लड़का है। परंतु प्रथम बार गया लड़का मानने को तैयार नहीं। उसको अपने मित्रा की बातों पर विश्वास नहीं हो रहा था। सांग के समाप्त होने के पश्चात् सांगी अपने उस स्थान पर गए जहाँ ठहरे हुए थे। दोनों लड़के भी उनके साथ वहीं गए। उस लड़के ने जो लड़की का स्वांग बनाए हुए था, अपने स्त्राी वाले वस्त्रा उतारकर खूंटी पर टाँग दिये। छाती से बनावटी दूधी उतारकर बैग में डाल दी। कच्छे-कच्छे में स्नान करने चला गया। यह देखकर नए दर्शक को विश्वास हुआ कि वास्तव में यह लड़का है। अगले दिन उस लड़के दर्शक को वह लड़की के वेश में लड़के में लड़की वाली मलीन वासना दिल में नहीं आई। उसे लड़का दिखाई दे रहा था। इसी प्रकार यदि शुकदेव ऋषि को अध्यात्म विवेक से आत्म ज्ञान होता तो उससे स्त्राी नहीं आत्मा रूप में पुरूष समझकर कहता कि आप पलंग पर विराजो, मैं पृथ्वी पर विश्राम करता हूँ। साधु, संत, फकीर इस विचारधारा से जीवन जीते हैं। साधना करके मोक्ष प्राप्त करते हैं।
