One of PMT Véolia's issues is the maintenance of its Ecodisk® wastewater treatment plants once installed, as they are guaranteed for 5 years. The lubrication of bearings, which house NTN-SNR's ULTAGE® solid cage spherical roller bearings, is thus a key stage of proper maintenance, more particularly in harsh and corrosive environments. PMT Veolia has set up its own test bench to test various lubrication systems that may suit thier plants. After six months of tests, they opted for NTN- SNR's Polipump to offer thier customers an alternative to manual lubrication or single-point lubrication systems. Polipump’s pressure of 80 bar per point and its reliability have made a significant difference, notably compared with the former multi-point units used that had pressure problems at the more distant points, even when compared with electrochemical cartridges. The Polipump is particularly suited to PMT Véolia's Ecodisk® plants, which require up to 7 lubricating points per line. Additionally, the Polipump offers customers the possibility of using the grease of their choosing with the same degree of efficiency.

è quindi una fase fondamentale per una corretta manutenzione, in particolare in ambienti difficili e corrosivi. PMT Veolia ha installato un banco prova per testare i diversi sistemi di lubrificazione ed individuare quello più adatto ai propri impianti. Dopo sei mesi di test, ha scelto Polipump di NTN- SNR per offrire ai propri clienti un'alternativa alla lubrificazione manuale o ai sistemi di lubrificazione "single point". La pressione di 80 bar per punto e l'affidabilità hanno fatto una differenza significativa, in particolare rispetto alle centrali “multi point” utilizzate in precedenza – che presentavano problemi di pressione nei punti più distanti – e anche rispetto alle cartucce elettrochimiche. Polipump è particolarmente adatta agli impianti Ecodisk® di PMT Veolia che richiedono fino a 7 punti di lubrificazione per linea. Infine, Polipump offre al cliente la possibilità di utilizzare il lubrificante di loro scelta, senza compromettere l'efficienza.
