ついでに生活面で言えば、もともと中国は食の文化が有名で「食は中国にあり」という言葉がありましたが、いまは北京でも日本の典型的ななま物が出ます。北京料理店ではまだ少ないですが、上海ではメニューの何番目かには刺し身が載っています。ただ日本の魚ではなく、ノルウェーなど北欧から輸入した冷凍のサーモンなどが出ています。でもノルウェーの魚だとはみんな知らない。日本食だと理解しています。また北京の日本大使館近くに友誼商店があって、最近聞いたらその１階には回転寿司が出ている。また札幌ラーメンが出ているそうです。本当は麺は中華料理だと思っていたけれども、なぜ「札幌ラーメン」という名前をつけたかというと、それが売れるから、何だか外国っぽいから、ということです。
