2010년 그가 선보인 또 다른 대표작 는 2004년 ‘Field of Light’로 큰 반향을 일으켰던 롱 크놀 들판에 6년 만에 다시 설치한 작업입니다. 시간이 지나고 기술이 발달하면서 폐기돼버린 60만 장의 컴팩트디스크(CD)를 전 세계에서 기증받아 진행한 작업은 한가운데 뱀 모양의 길 부분만을 비워두고 다양한 사람들과 함께 모여 CD를 병렬 설치해 들판을 가득 메우는 것으로 완성됐습니다. 이 작업은 작가가 호주에서 경험했던 강한 햇살을 염두에 둔 것이자, 호주에서 거주하던 당시 넬슨 공원에서 자주 바라봤던 시드니 항구 해안가의 모습을 재현한 것인데요, 자신이 잠시 거주했던 바닷가 마을 살콤브에서 영감을 받은 것임을 스스로 밝히기도 했습니다. 각 CD가 반사시키는 호주의 강한 햇빛은, 반짝이며 일렁이는 해수면의 빛과 흡사한데, 관람객은 작업 한가운데 뱀 모양으로 비워놓은 길 위에 서서 작업이 빛을 통해 선사하는 황홀한 경험을 만끽할 수 있습니다. 그의 작업에서 관람객은 언제나 가장 가까운 내부에 위치하여 온몸으로 작업을 경험할 수 있는데, 이 점에서 작가가 관람객의 경험을 최우선시하고 있음을 엿볼 수 있습니다. 그들에게 다양한 경험을 제시하고 다른 가능성을 열어주기 위해 작가의 모든 작업엔 접근 가능성이 항상 최대한으로 높여져 있습니다.
