We use the zero-error approach, which is applied throughout all the business divisions of our company and places the focus on the quality of our work, our products and our services.

If the mutex already happens to be locked, the caller will go to sleep. When the function returns, the caller will be woken up (obviously), and the caller will also now hold the lock. This call either returns zero on success or a non-zero error code on failure.

Projects involving Information and Communications Technology (ICT) activities should require that all parties commit to robust standardized protocols beforehand. The PE Basic Education Project for Peru has as its Project Development Objectives (PDO) to (1) implement new educational models to improve the quality of priority s... The project aims to improve the capacity of the Ministry of Education to evaluate students' learning and teaching in regular basic educational institutions. In this sense, and given the nature, objectives and strategy of the project, there are no expected significant negative impacts arising between teachers and Indigenous students of basic education. However, the Social Diagnosis conducted suggests that indigenous peoples, given their social, cultural and economic conditions, may face to a greater extent than the rest of the population, limits to how much they can benefit from the positive effects of the project. These limitations relate to: i) potential biases in standardized tests when applied to students whose native language is not Spanish and whose culture is different from the majority, ii) extreme geographical, economic, cultural and institutional barriers in accessing and using the results of the student assessment, and iii) mechanisms of selection and training of teachers that do not take into account the specific cultural and linguistic elements required for educational institutions serving indigenous populations.
