Naturally, the end of the Cold War made all of these arrangements unnecessary. REFORGER exercises were terminated, most storage sites in Europe were closed-down and long-standing as well as more recent reinforcement commitments brought to an end (see Box 2). The RRP had achieved its purpose of deterrence and reassurance, but had now outlived the circumstances that had prompted its development.

Marketing Director at Tallinn Airport Eero Pärgmäe said that the number of passengers changed in a positive direction for all carriers offering regular flights. The increase was the biggest on flights to Stockholm, Munich and Vilnius. “The summer flight schedule will officially end in October and we will then be able to prepare an overview of this summer season,” said Pärgmäe. “Initial results suggest that we can be satisfied with the number of passengers who passed through the airport in summer and continue looking to the future with optimism.” Direct summer flights to Barcelona, Rome and Rijeka ended in September whilst direct flights to Dublin, Girona, Odessa, Split and Nice will continue until the end of October.

What demands are made in the resolutions? First and foremost, that Iran should rebuild trust in and increase the transparency of its nuclear programme. The additional protocols should be concluded to broaden the powers of IAEA inspectors and to facilitate access to persons, documentation, technology and sites that would reveal the full scope of Iran’s nuclear activities. Iran is prohibited from undertaking any uranium enrichment until it complies with these requirements—this ban also applies to facilities under IAEA control. Still, the resolutions suggest a peaceful solution to the Iranian nuclear issue: the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, together with the EU High Representative, have proposed a scheme which would require Iran to ship its low-enriched uranium to a third country for further enrichment, from where it would subsequently be re-dispatched to Iran. A similar scheme has been launched for Iran’s first Bushehr nuclear power plant which uses Russian and not Iranian nuclear fuel and also relies on Russia for the transportation of its nuclear waste. In return, the international community may start to gradually ease the anti-Iranian nuclear sanctions which are already taking a very heavy toll on the Iranian economy. So far, Tehran has announced its intention not to accept any proposals because it has learned from previous experience not to trust them (it is referring to the cancellation of US-Iranian nuclear cooperation after the Islamic Revolution). Brazil and Turkey have also put forward similar proposals, but to no avail.

The world tour lasted up to much as 1950 years. This must have been a very long trip, even considering the long life of the Sumera-Mikoto in those days.13 Why was the world tour held over such a long period of time? The tour of all nations began from the 3rd generation of the Joko era (Amehino-motohino-himi-inushi Sumera-Mikoto) and ended by the 12th generation of Kanyamato dynasty (Keiko Ten-no). In principle, the tour was made at least once in each generation although some Sumera-Mikoto did not make such trips. The tour of all nations, which was a great task to be carried out once in each generation, was not merely goodwill diplomacy or an inspection of each country by the Sumera-Mikoto. The main purpose was the appointment of the King (Mittoson) in each nation. This is found in the record of the Sumera-Mikoto of the 3rd generation of the Joko era. It was mentioned previously that the name of the Sumera-Mikoto was used successively over many generations. I assume that the succession of names and world tours are closely related. World tours were carried out once in each generation of the Sumera-Mikoto under the same succeeding name. The Sumera-Mikoto ruled the world though the direct appointment of the King in each nation. This system is still practiced in the Japanese cabinet. For instance, the Prime Minister of Japan14, who holds a supreme authority, appoints each minister and governs the nation. Each time the Prime Minister changes, the cabinet are re-shuffled. In ultra ancient times, every time each generation of the Sumera-Mikoto changed, the King of each nation would have to be appointed or re-appointed. There is a record that says a King was replaced when corruption or problems were found during his tenure, although the King generally remained in tenure until the Sumera-Mikoto who appointed him was replaced. From this, one can imagine that the duration of the tenure of the King would probably be one generation of the Sumera-Mikoto.
