71. The Chairperson took it that his proposal was approved. In accordance with standard procedures, the Officers would approve the final report to be submitted to the Governing Body, make the necessary arrangements for the meeting of the Officers before the March session, and determine the Committee's agenda for that session.

In T 202/83 it was concluded from the old version of R. 30(c) EPC 1973 that the requirement of unity was not met by every subject-matter for carrying out a process. On the contrary, the provision presupposed that the means for carrying out the process had been specifically designed. Consequently, such a means in connection with the corresponding process did not meet the unity requirement if it was obvious that it could also serve to solve other technical problems.

They had to have $350,000 per head on each person. But the problem wasn't even a matter of high premiums, necessarily. No insurance company was going to provide them with coverage. The industry faced extinction at that point. Out in rural areas, like Renfrew—Nipissing—Pembroke, many summer jobs are provided through this industry. We started out with one, Wilderness Tours, and now there are many along both sides of the river.

"Situated on the Rue de Thorigny in Paris, the gallery opened three years ago. My background is somewhat unusual. I went to business school and opened a gallery in 1993 on the Rue du Perche which, unfortunately, didn’t last long. I probably wasn’t ready yet. Still, I was able to make a career in the industry and keep in mind my passion for art and artists. Eventually I enrolled in contemporary art classes at the École du Louvre taught by Olivier Michelon and Bernard Blistène. It was wonderful. What’s important for me is the multitude of media and visions, and also the doubt expressed by contemporary art, which I would define through the curiosity of the world and mankind."

The beginnings of d&b go right back to the inevitable garage. And to two hobby musicians who had experienced that the sound that leaves the system through the power towers is not always the same as that which goes in. And so they decided to introduce new impulses in audio technology, with the firm conviction that even larger and louder loudspeakers was simply not the right way to meet the electroacoustic challenges. Their utopian spirit was fed on practical experience. Jürgen Daubert, for example, had been juggling with transistors since his youth, developing amplifiers with increasing efficiency and output, and finally, as a sideline during his student days, had developed a new kind of amplifier electronics. Rolf Belz on the other hand, 'the ear', had trained his ears inexorably through all kinds of music and sound experiments. His claim to fame were two suitably calibrated measuring instruments, his ears.

The Design & Engineering team at Materialise chose standard carbon tubing to serve as a basic, very light frame, and then designed 3D-printed connection points, pads and buffers to join them up. The modular approach meant that a range of technologies and materials could be used to exploit their specific properties. For example, the buffers were printed using TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) for its rubberlike and highly durable characteristics. This would ensure the fixture would easily survive a fall.

FG: “From what I’ve seen, the boat finished in really good condition. We are going to check her out, but I didn’t see anything serious. On the face of it, everything withstood the weather, even though she had one hell of a battering. It was very violent. The boat was built wonderfully well. Up until this year, we regularly had small problems. I think that we needed two years to test her reliability with a view to a round the world. It was a wise decision to take this two-year approach. I’m really proud of this boat and the work of the team. It’s just fantastic, as we started out with a blank page. Four years ago, the specifications were to sail round the world as fast as possible single-handed, with a budget and a launch date, full stop. We couldn’t really go in all directions. We could have built a 50-foot long catamaran. Together with the team we thought things through a great deal. I think we made the right choices. I work with a wonderful team, as deeply devoted and committed as ever, and extremely meticulous. I share a collective pride with the whole team and with Macif.

The Finnish state beverages company Alko gives each member of its board of governors - which is exclusively made up of members of parliament - 36 bottles of wine each year. That's completely unnecessary, the liberal daily Keskisuomalainen writes in dismay: "In the bad old times it was normal for companies to give their business partners gifts of alcohol before public holidays. Nowadays, by contrast, more value is placed on the well-being of the family and public health. And in this light the former practices no longer seem right. ... In the past even larger gifts were acceptable. But customs have changed, and rightly so. Alko should rethink the scope and the reasons for its gifts. It justifies them by saying that the board members should be familiar with new products and Alko's activities. But such in-depth knowledge of the products doesn't belong to the core competences of the board of governors." (19/04/2013)

For me the end of the winter in the city is connected with water. Better, with the metamorphose of the water, changing from solid element to liquid element. Nothing new, I know. But in the city there is nothing like in nature. In the city there is artificial ground, there is road. But there are also some small owls on the ground, near the roads, the places where the water goes when it rains for example. So, if you go to a very quiet street, if you close your eyes, maybe you will hear the sound of the winter going away. And in this moment the city have many, many cascades. This was my ritual- the ending of the winter, the possibility of spring. I thought this should be announced to everybody- “You can hear the winter going away!”. I imagine that in one moment all the city stops- the cars, the trains, the bus, like in a giant choreography, and all the people will close their eyes and will listen the end of winter.

To pursue her lifelong passion for designing and making jewellery, Camille Hamel created the Zoaje brand with her husband Clément in 2013, while she was still a student. Her entrepreneurial spirit was no doubt reinforced by the dynamism of Shanghai, where she has chosen to live and to grow her business while reconciling small-scale production and openness to the world.

In 2009, the reformists again do not seem to have promising prospects, with two candidates, Mehdi Karrubi and Mir-Hossein Moussavi. Mr. Karrubi, a former speaker of the Majlis, is viewed by both camps as a spoiler, as his refusal to step down in 2005 proved damaging to the reformists. This time, he has attracted prominent reformist support, for example from former Tehran mayor Karbaschi. Mr. Moussavi was prime minister from 1981 to 1989 and is best remembered for preventing a total economic collapse during the war with Iraq. He has historically been associated with the left, including with some factions who eventually became reformists. In 1997, some reformists had attempted to nominate him but he declined in order to let Mr. Khatami run. He serves on the influential Expediency Council but has been mostly absent from the political limelight since 1989. This has produced a pressing need for him to clarify his agenda he has yet to articulate specific policy positions beyond criticising President Ahmedinejad. In general, his views seem to resemble those of Mr. Khatami but, unlike the latter, he is not associated with being ineffective, and some analysts say that he could mobilise reformists more efficiently. Through his membership of the Expediency Council, he has built inroads to the centre, and has reportedly received the support of the Supreme Leader’s brother.
You ‘will understand, I survalide my decision. I must say that the jobs raining since I arrived, which was not necessarily the case in Paris. I even for the first time in my life put my booker in speed-dial ….. after my darling of course! (See, touch speed dial). In short, New York ‘s only happiness …
