Janice Remai (MA, CE) is a Partner in the GGI Ottawa office. She has almost 20 years of experience in the program evaluation field for federal, provincial and non-governmental clients. Janice’s project experience includes the development of performance measurement strategies and evaluation plans, and the conduct of both implementation and summative evaluations. She has worked in a variety of content areas and her current research interests include health, the environment, science and technology, employment and training, and immigration. As a result of her academic training and research experience, Janice has expertise in the design and conduct of both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She has conducted document and literature reviews, focus groups, case studies, key informant interviews, and managed large-scale telephone and online surveys. Janice is a seasoned and ‘hands-on’ project manager, with over a decade of experience in leading evaluation studies. In this role, Janice has been responsible for project scoping, client liaison, leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary research teams, ensuring quality control, and submission of deliverables, including final reports and presentations, that are timely, evidence-based and meet client expectations. Ms. Remai holds a Master of Arts degree in Sociology. She is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) and has received her Credentialed Evaluator (CE) designation. Ms.Remai is security cleared to the Secret level.
