To be quite honest, I think this is a very positive thing to do, and I think this is definitely something we should support. For the first time in committee we're all on the same page on a big issue, and this is a very supportive kind of thing.

Personne ne nous dit comment procéder et, d’un autre côté, notre objectif est de rester toujours non-politique et d’éviter ce genre de politisation de nos activités. Donc c’est une chose positive que nous soyons reconnus dans certains créneaux financiers.

Of course, all these projects require funds, so we compete for the contents given by local or state institutions. In that sense we are dependent on them. But programme-wise, we are totally independent. No one is telling us how to proceed and, on the other hand, our aim is to always stay non-political and to move away from this kind of politicisation of our activity. So this is a positive thing, that we are recognised in some kind of financing channel. Of course, we have to prove what we started to realise in every project, to prove ourselves to donors.
