En lo que a la educación medio ambiental en la universidad se refiere no se puede decir que esté muy presente en las carreras, si bien es cierto que existen asignaturas aunque la mayoría de ellas son optativas ( lo mismo se puede decir de su presencia en los doctorados).
As far as environmental education in University is concerned, it cannot be said that it is very present in careers, even though it is certain that such subjects are imparted, although most of them are optional (the same can be said of their presence in doctorate studies). A very important factor that should be obtained is the continued training of teachers, which is indispensable for good teaching. Environmental teaching is not yet organized

Lamentablemente, este no es el método más eficiente. Esperar a arreglar la maquinaria hasta que esté inutilizable suele dar como resultado una situación de crisis que se podría haber evitado con revisiones más frecuentes.
If you are like most companies, you probably approach maintenance from a reactive standpoint, also known as “firefighting.” In other words, you tend to fix equipment after it is already broken. After all, “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it!” Unfortunately, this is not the most efficient method. Waiting to service machinery until it is inoperable often results in crisis situations that could have been avoided by more frequent checkups. All too easily, you are facing unplanned downtime and draining the bank to repair equipment as a rush job.

What we know today about the grand chief or kjisaqmaw, Membertou, is based primarily on the writings of Marc Lescarbot and other explorers. Nearly all of them described him as a person of great influence, who led a small following of Mi’kmaq in the region that came to be known by the French as Port-Royal. According to reports, Membertou was very old, though vigorous, when Sieur de Mons moved his expedition across the bay to establish the Habitation at Port-Royal. Champlain wrote that in war Membertou “had a reputation of being the most evil and treacherous among all those of his nation.” His trustworthiness in dealings with friends, neighbours and guests earned him the esteem of the French. Father Biard, one of the Jesuits who came to Port-Royal in 1611 wrote: “This was the greatest, most renowned and most formidable [native person] within the memory of man; of splendid physique, taller and larger-limbed than is usual among them; bearded like a Frenchman, although scarcely any of the others have hair upon the chin; grave and reserved; feeling a proper sense of dignity for his position as commander.”

Cependant, chez les porcs HF, la concentration plasmatique en acides gras non-esté rifiés avait tendance à être plus basse (i>P=0,09) alors que le rendement de carcasse é tait plus élevé (i>P=0,04) par rapport aux porcs CONT.
A current food safety challenge at pig slaughter plants comes with the presence of stomachs filled with liquid induced by hunger-related drinking in lairage. With the objective to reduce hunger-related excess drinking, 30 barrows were assigned to three treatments (10 pigs per treatment): (1) unsupplemented water or feed regimen (CONT), (2) L-Tryptophan (3 g L-1) and vitamin B6 (10 mg L-1) in the drinking water for 5d (TRP- B6), (3) hydrogenated fat (HF) supplemented at 10% in the diet for the last day of feeding before pre-slaughter fasting. As compared with CONT, neither TRP- B6 nor HF supplementation influenced behaviour in lairage and water intake at anytime over the pre-slaughter fasting period as reflected on stomach weight and its liquid content at slaughter (P>0.10). However, in HF-fed pigs plasma non-esterified fatty acids concentrations tended to be lower (P=0.09) while carcass yield was higher (P=0.04) than CONT pigs. It appears, therefore, that neither drinking water supplementation with TRP- B6 for 5 d nor feeding HF the last day before slaughter can be recommended strategies to limit excess water drinking prior to slaughter and liquid stomach content at slaughter. However, dietary HF supplementation the last day before slaughter may attenuate the effects of fasting on body energy reserves and improve carcass yield.
