So I could add to all the different definitions of knowledge, and add a few more verbs, and adjectives and nouns. I'm not going to do that. I think that is one of the challenges of this area, that we keep adding new concepts and new pieces, but we need to think about knowledge in all of its forms and all of its stages through policy, research, and practice. And the critical piece of making sure it's knowledge, evidence, experience and expertise. And why? You heard this from our Minister and Deputy Minister, the combination of, how do I identify, share, spread, scale, sustain successful practices, particularly for our students, but also the political realities of a time of economic constraint? How do we know what works, what doesn't work, what's the best investment and what's the most supportive, and how do we bring these pieces together? Or, as Dilbert says, "I narrowed down the options to an alternative that costs too much and another that won't work. I didn't do any research; it's more of an experience thing. Next week, I'm going to think about the option of using a technology that's not yet available.'
