He has studied the orchestral repertoire with the principal cellists of several of America's leading orchestras, including Stephen Geber, Desmond Hoebig and Ron Leonard. He has also performed in masterclasses held by Aldo Parisot, Tsyoshi Tsutsumi, Raya Garbousova and Yehuda Hanani and has audited classes with Josef Gingold, Gyorgy Sebok, Frank Miller and Lynn Harrell.

David Adamcyk is a Canadian composer, electronic musician, and sound engineer living in New York. He creates musical works for the concert hall and theatrical stage, often incorporating technology. He was the assistant to Martin Matalon and Philippe Leroux, has collaborated with artist Julia Randall, and has worked with Quasar, Cairn, the MSO, Talea, ECM+, IRCAM, Esprit Orchestra, and SMCQ. David has taken part in the Nouvelles Rencontres composition program at Domaine Forget, in St-Iréné, and was selected for the National Arts Center's Young Composers program in Ottawa. He has won four prizes at the SOCAN Foundation composer’s competition, and was also one of the five finalists in the CBC/SRC Evolution composition competition. David holds a doctorate in Composition from McGill University, and currently teaches sound recording, live sound, and electronic music at the Columbia's Computer Music Center and at the Manhattan School of Music.

As a HORN PLAYER, he studied under Gregory Cass and Bruno Schneider. Sturzenegger then joined the GUSTAV MAHLER JUGENG ORCHESTER and played with orchestras (Zurich Opera - academy- and the Basel Symphony Orchestra) for four years before deciding to pursue a career as a chamber musician and freelance performer. He thus rubbed shoulders with some of the greatest conductors (Abbado, Levine, Santi, Marriner, von Dohnanyi, Ashkenazy,...) and appeared as a soloist conducted by Emmanuel Krivine. Sturzenegger won Second Prize in the Concours National d'Exécution Musicale de Riddes (Riddes National Musical Performance Competition) and was a semi-finalist in the Concours International de Trévoux (International Trévoux Competition) (France). He was also awarded a Migros Scholarship and won the Kiefer-Hablitzel Award given by the Swiss Musicians' Association.

John Player was born in Victoria, BC in 1983. He holds a BFA in Studio Arts and a MFA in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University. He has participated in various group exhibitions in Montreal, where he has worked and lived since 2004. John was part of the Baie St-Paul Symposium in 2015 and of the Art Omi (NY) residency programme. In 2016, he was awarded the William Blair Bruce Travel Scholarship to undertake research cycling through former Soviet Republics. Finalist of the RBC Painting Competition in 2015, his work can found in numerous private collections and in the corporate collections of Groupe Courchesne Larose and BMO Financial Group.

After a spell at the Lenôtre school, and having reached the semi-finals of the 2003 Prosper Montagné competition, he joined the team at Relais de Margaux with a view to getting to know the gastronomic gems of our region. He studied one year at Rotterdam’s Conservatorium and was a finalist in the Doolin Competition. Later he studied a year with the pianist Edith Fisher in Barcelona. She has received masterclasses from Juana McGregor, Julian Jacobson, Josep Colom and Andrew Jasinsky. He has performed in different places on the islands, Barcelona, England, Germany and the United States. As a composer, his works have been performed in Mallorca, Barcelona, Germany and the United States. He is currently a professor at the IES Pau Casesnoves.

The Belgian soprano Charlotte Wajnberg obtained a Master’s with great distinction at the Royal Antwerp Conservatory, where she was taught by Anne Cambier, in 2013. She has taken part in masterclasses given by Christianne Stotijn, Ann Murray, Roger Vignoles, Sergei Leiferkus, Joseph Breinl, Jard Van Nes, and Juliane Banse. In 2011, she made her debut at the La Monnaie opera house in Brussels, under Alain Altinoglu. She has worked with respected orchestras and ensembles such as the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra, the Südwestdeutsches Kammerochester Pforzheim, the Sint-Paulus Sinfonietta, the Mannheimer Hofkapelle, and the Terra Nova Collective, with which she sang on the occasion of Klara in deSingel 2018. Charlotte Wajnberg won first prize in the Dexia Classics competition and the audience prize in the Prix Jacques Dôme and was a finalist in the Voix Nouvelles competition in Belgium.
