They were somewhat over-represented among U.S. Pleasure Travelers to the eastern provinces (e.g., Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick).

Linked or not with the pro-Serb ultra-right (like Le Pen in France), they are hardly different from the pack of intellectuals in NATO’s uniform, calling for the systematic bombing of Serbia. All they form part of the long ideological chain which tries to convince the workers that it is necessary to choose a camp, and thus to let accept the idea that it will be necessary to die sooner or later for a "just" capitalist cause.

I would like to note a concern I had when I was going through this for a second time. Of the 301 members of the House of Commons, you have 109 responses. That's about a 33% response. Despite Mr. Kilger's hope that we'll be finished by June 1, I'm wondering if one of the tasks would be to go to the caucuses and have a quick ballot strictly on the question of votability. When I looked at the results, they were not overwhelming, yet when you talk to people, the desire is very strong amongst people who are very involved in this business to have every bill votable. When you look at the results on here, and they're not even skewed by party, it's not strong enough that 50% of 109 people want everything votable.

Switzerland also has gas reserves, but in most cases these are too small to justify exploitation. The only exception is Finsterwald (canton of Lucerne), where a total volume of 73 million cubic metres (which is equivalent to around 3% of Switzerland's annual gas consumption) was exploited between 1985 and 1994. This means that Switzerland's gas requirements have to be met entirely through imports, most of which are secured in the form of long-term supply agreements with reliable EU partners (Germany, the Netherlands, France and Italy). With the exception of the Netherlands, these countries import most of their gas requirements from Russia, Norway and Algeria. On the basis of the overall gas import statistics of these four partner countries, it can be estimated that approximately 95% of the gas consumed in Switzerland is produced in the following countries: the Netherlands, Russia, Norway, Germany and Algeria (in descending order of importance).
