Are you the really serious type, the type that is convinced fun is mainly a waste of time? Then this is goodbye to you.

Many Tamil refugees, even after years in Switzerland, still have only temporary residence permits. Their lives are worn down by the constant fight for permits and work, authorization to travel and education.

Mr. Wilks and Mr. Atamanenko, it's fantastic to have you both here. I know that many members of Parliament never get a chance to sit at that end of the table. They spend their whole lives sitting along the sides, asking the tough questions. You're ready for that today, I hope.

Earlier this season, the Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop Holiday Helpers partnered with Master Card® to surprise lucky shoppers by taking care of their gift budgets. On Thanksgiving night, across most of the bakery cafe chain's U.S. markets, restaurant owners randomly gave a person waiting in line for Black Friday deals $750 in Master Card® gift cards.

In my 16+ years in different roles in sales, I have met many sales people who never bought a book about the sales in their life. They never attended a seminar about sales, which was not part of their company at the time. However, they were always complaining about how companies are not investing enough in their sales force, yet expect them to be perfect and up to date. That is the reason why they don’t want to invest in seminars on their own.

German is spoken during the meals, which our students eat together. You will also learn a lot about the German cuisine and food culture, typical German dishes, as well as cultural aspects that are not covered in class. Leisure time (afternoons, evenings, weekends) are spent together with other international students who also live on campus. This gives all students the opportunity to continue practicing and enhancing their German skills all day long, which enhances and speeds up the learning process.

You can identify these guys pretty easily. They're the ones who aren't writing any code (nor do they have any intention to). Instead they spend their time talking about more important things. You know, those managerial issues. If you're a project leader, it's pretty easy to deal with them. Just tell them that you won't consider any proposal unless they produce working code. Or insist that they constructively help the current project, which includes obeying the current project manager, before giving them the opportunity to offer any (constructive) criticism. If they write some nice code or start being more helpful, great. If not, tell them to go away. They'll either leave the project (if you ignore them long enough), or they'll get their act together and start writing some code and generally become more pleasant.

Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is a widely-used, evidence-based prevention program aimed at reducing anti-social behaviour and recidivism among at-risk youth (Henggeler et al., 2009). The program originated in the United States in the mid-1970's, when Dr. Scott Henggeler was hired by the Virginia State Department of Pediatrics to work with some of their most difficult cases. He decided that, rather than simply bringing adolescents into a clinic for therapy, a more effective strategy would be for treatment to occur directly within the context of clients' lives: their homes, their schools, and where they spent their leisure time. After several years of further study and development, MST Services was formed in 1996 in order to disseminate the intervention more broadly, granting program licenses and offering assistance with start-up and training, as well as providing ongoing technical and quality assurance support.

Finally, if you think urchins have nothing to do with plankton, think again.  Like most animals inhabiting the seabed, before becoming adults they live among the plankton as embryos and larvae. Here they are easy prey for other marine organisms, forming an essential link in the food chain of the Mediterranean Sea. Only a few will survive, enough to perpetuate the species and fulfill their role in planktonic life.

My kids love it there. They adore the blue sky, they go on and on about the sea and the sandy beaches. I guess that they love humus and falafel. It doesn’t take a genius to realise that everything I have mentioned so far belongs to the land - i.e., Palestine rather than the state - i.e., Israel. However, it doesn’t end there. They also love to talk in Hebrew surrounded by Hebrew speakers, to laugh in Hebrew and even to get upset in Hebrew. They love the Hebraic
