When I made the chair, I just used the mitre saw and a template. This greatly simplified the construction process for me, and I was willing to deal with tiny gaps at the ends since they would be covered. The seat width is 20”, and I made the overall seat depth a total of 14.5 sticks in the end. The measured depth depends on your stick widths. In the end, plan on about 17” for depth. Shown below is the attachment for the first 13 sticks. Don’t include the 14th, which will be at the back, or the 0.5, which will be at the front. The front most stick will be angled, which will cause slight problems will the supports, but we’ll cross that bridge later.

There are certain nutrient supplements that may be very helpful with gum and periodontal problems. These include coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), bioflavonoids, vitamin C and vitamin D. CoQ10 has long been used in Japan as a treatment for periodontal and gum problems with considerable success. Since levels of CoQ10 can be low in people with HIV, this nutrient deficiency may be a factor in the development of periodontal problems. CoQ10 supplements, in doses of 100 to 300 mg daily, may help to prevent or resolve gum and periodontal problems. Vitamin C is needed for healthy gums, and bioflavonoids such as quercetin have capillary strengthening qualities that might reduce gum bleeding. Vitamin C taken to a maximum of 2,000 mg per day, the upper tolerable limit, and quercetin taken in doses of 500 mg, twice daily, may be helpful in maintaining oral health.

Alors que les coupures superficielles et éraflures peuvent causer de légers problèmes, le plus grand risque pour les enfants atteints de ces troubles est le saignement interne, principalement dans les muscles, les articulations ou les organes vitaux, pouvant entraîner la mort.
Inherited bleeding disorders are a family of diseases in which blood proteins or platelets that help the blood to clot are missing or do not function properly, resulting in prolonged bleeding. These conditions include hemophilia A and B, von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies (factors I, II, V, VII, X, XI, XIII), and platelet function disorders. While surface cuts and abrasions can create minor problems, the main risk for children and adults with these disorders is internal bleeding, mainly into muscles and joints or vital organs, which can cause death. For women there are additional risks: heavy menstrual periods, which in the absence of proper diagnosis can lead to reduced quality of life, unnecessary hysterectomies, and the risk of hemorrhaging during childbirth.
