The new Elipson Infinite home cinema range is composed of two types of in-wall/in-ceiling and free-standing speakers. Made for dedicated screening rooms, our designers and acousticians have applied their expertise to offer breathtaking sound and a relatively shallow enclosure, making these speakers easy to install. The system meets the professional standards required to offer a one-of-a-kind, energetic home cinema experience. The technologies inside the enclosure, the Rohacell® and carbon fibre composite membranes, along with the size of the magnets used, qualify these speakers as high-end products. The alluring satin black and brushed metal finish allows the speakers to be discreetly installated behind an acoustically transparent screen.

The higher the degree of compliance requirements, the more stringent the control requirements. This inherently exposes the department to risk stemming from insufficient adherence to obligations, whether statutory or otherwise and can expose the department to reputational consequences.

It is expected that the effort necessary to carry out a second (or subsequent) PSR of an NPP will often be considerably less than for the first. In general, subsequent PSRs will focus on changes in requirements, facility conditions, operating experience and new information, rather than repeating the activities of previous reviews.

But what is most positive is the financial assistance from the European Development Fund, which will help us to address potential barriers to fish trade, particularly sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) requirements, and improve our fish exports to the EU.

The new ENERGY STAR specification for standard-size residential refrigerators comes into effect on April 28, 2008. This specification ensures that only the top energy performers on the market are eligible to use the ENERGY STAR symbol. The new specification affects only standard-size refrigerators that are 7.75 cubic feet (219.5 litres) or larger, and raises the ENERGY STAR level to 20 percent above the minimum federal standard.

The pro-Western “March 14” coalition is claiming it wishes to govern alone if it wins and to shun the cabinet should it lose. But one-sided government is an unrealistic and inadvisable prospect. Hizbollah and its allies have amply demonstrated their ability to obstruct political life and block institutional decisions if they are excluded. Likewise, the Hizbollah-led “March 8” group will do all in its power to avoid a repeat of Hamas’s experience, when triumph at the polls was followed by incapacity to govern due to the international diplomatic and economic boycott. Besides, President Michel Suleiman has nothing to gain from a mono-colour cabinet that would erode his mediating role – the single most important source of his fragile authority.

I wrote on the graph on page 7, where you're dealing with employment growth, reading demand, and so on, which is what we've been talking about a little bit. I think you suggested that perhaps we need to put something into the job, to add a level, a demand, or some responsibility, or something....

In T 521/00 the board had to assess whether the alleged opposition ground of insufficient disclosure pursuant to Art. 100(b) EPC 1973 (substance unchanged) had been substantiated in the notice of opposition. The appellant had referred to T 65/00, in which it was stated that, for an opposition to be admissible, it was sufficient that the arguments were such that an arguable case was established, it being irrelevant whether the arguments brought forward by the opponent referred to Art. 84 or 83 EPC 1973. The board admitted that this statement would cover the case under consideration, but could not concur with it. According to the board, the mere establishment of an arguable case would not comply with R. 55(c) EPC 1973 (now R. 76(2)(c) EPC), which required that an indication of the facts, evidence and arguments be presented in support of the alleged opposition grounds. This provision should not be undermined by lowering its requirements even more, as the Enlarged Board had stressed its significance in G 9/91 (OJ 1993, 408) and G 10/91 (OJ 1993, 420). The board therefore preferred to follow T 134/88 (see above), in which it had been found that allegations which could not be subsumed under one of the opposition grounds had to be left out of consideration.

37. As explained in detail in the document the Office submitted to the LILS Committee in March 1995,(52) important amendments to the Constitution were adopted in 1946. It was stipulated in article 19, paragraph 5(e) that member States which have not ratified a given Convention shall be required periodically to provide the Office with reports on the position of their law and practice in regard to the matters dealt with in the Convention, showing the effect they have given or they intend to give to each provision of the Convention, and also on the difficulties preventing or delaying the ratification of the Convention. This reform led to the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations to conduct studies -- called general surveys -- on the basis of the reports received from member States under both article 19 and article 22 of the Constitution. The aim of these surveys is to combine three objectives: the in-depth examination of the conditions and difficulties of application of ratified Conventions, the examination of legal difficulties for ratification, and the analysis of national circumstances with regard to non-ratified Conventions and Recommendations. The appearance of general surveys relegated to second place the reports submitted in accordance with the final Articles of Conventions, which appear to have now become obsolete.
