Meanwhile, the genomic era technologies have also significantly expanded our understanding of the molecular basis of host-virus-vector interactions, which will undoubtedly improve virus disease management in various aspects including more efficient development and utilization of resistant cultivars especially those with multiple resistances and more efficient management of vectors and vector-mediated transmission.
