The fourth circle is for giving recommendations on what needs to happen to these people. Two weeks prior to court, we submit written reports to the court, judge, Crown and defense. They're very extensive reports because we look at the four parts of the person. Through circles we can assess where the person is at emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. There is a format of that report that we use where we give all that prior information to the courts.

And again, monks, a monk by getting rid of joy and by getting rid of anguish, by the going down of his former pleasures and sorrows, enters on and abides in the fourth meditation which has neither anguish nor joy, and which is entirely purified by equanimity and mindfulness. He, having suffused this very body with a mind that is utterly pure, utterly clean, comes to be sitting down; there is no part of his whole body that is not suffused with a mind that is utterly pure, utterly clean.

With the wireless touchscreen, the user is no longer restricted by the control panel, but can start and control all functions by remote control from any location within the workshop. This is not only convenient, but also saves walking distances and therefore saves a lot of time: for example, if the tester remains seated in the vehicle during the test, he can view the results on the hand-held 10.1" screen. The system is operated via the multi-touch LCD display using remote control. The view is 1:1 the same as at the control panel. The measurement results are then automatically transmitted via WiFi or Bluetooth 4.1. Connection to other software used in the workshop is of course also possible, as long as the display and operability via tablet is possible.

Meighen's first instinct was to resign but he felt obligated to the party. Rather than contest another by-election, he allowed Hanson to continue as Conservative house leader. The arrangement did not work well. They clashed over tactics and policy. Meighen still believed Canada's lacklustre war effort was the central issue, while Hanson emphasized social and economic reforms. A semi-official policy conference at Port Hope, Ont., in September 1942 developed a platform significantly more progressive in tone than Meighen would have preferred. It advocated the adjustment of farm debt, a national labour relations board, federal aid for low-cost housing, comprehensive social security, and a national contributory system of health care. Meighen was wary of the state providing such a range of social services, but his attention was directed elswhere. On his initiative, an organizing committee was established that same month to arrange a leadership convention for December in Winnipeg. He worked relentlessly behind the scenes to persuade John Bracken to stand for the leadership, and he used his party contacts to advocate the Manitoba premier as the best choice to succeed him. Both Bracken and the party were reluctant, but Meighen prevailed. The party left Winnipeg with a new name (Progressive Conservative), a new leader (Bracken), and new policies (the Port Hope platform). As for Meighen, he informed the delegates he was retiring for good, leaving his words and deeds as leader "unrevised and unrepented.".

“To wake up early in the morning before the sunrise, going to surf, sitting in the water waiting for the light to come up, then you see this very, very slow appearance of a glow of light that comes from very far away, from the sun. Then that moment is special.”

But what sorts of sensory stimuli produced on stage are able to induce sleep? We know from our experience of the cinema and television that sound can create tension, but can certain sounds also bring about complete relaxation? Are there particular types of light that can weaken our attention or even shut it down? Do narrative structures have a greater impact on our alertness than abstract forms (e.g. dance and music) in which repetition plays an important part? Do concrete conflicts, situations, and characters better hold our attention? Do we follow a line of dramatic development consciously, unconsciously, or subconsciously? And what about the language that we try to understand, but that can also have the effect of an incantation, bringing about a stupor or intoxication? In addition to generating all sorts of experiments within theatrical parameters, Kris Verdonck and Alix Eynaudi also involved the knowledge of scientists and parascientists in their working process: they contacted sleep specialists, brain researchers, hypnotists, etc.
