The province of Lucca in Italy is supporting 14 new enterprises thanks to ESF funding. A EUR 200 000 budget is expected to help a new real estate agency, a beauty centre, a hydroelectric plant and a graphics studio, among others, to start up and begin business. And a number of them will receive subsidised bank loans for creating their micro-enterprises. Provincial councilor Mario Regoli, hopes that: “the economic incentives will contribute to the success of new businesses and to creating new job opportunities”.
