Företagsakademin is an ESF-financed project in Stockholm aimed at companies with up to nine employees, including the owner. The project offers low-cost courses and seminars to improve diversity, equality and accessibility. So far, 2 200 employees have taken part, over half from companies owned by women and 22% from companies with managers with an immigrant background. The training includes immediately applicable tools to grow companies, such as leadership, communications and marketing. And the fully subscribed courses are popular, as participant Jan Sundqvist explains, ”It is especially nice to see that what we learn works in real life; that we have got real knowledge that works.”
