Taking account of the existing building, the main orientation and basic structure of the design was determined by the specific topography of the site (on the crest of a hill, sloping down into a valley) and its south-facing aspect. Mithilfe Abb. 3 kann festgestellt werden, dass die (111) Polfigur einen Ring geringerer Poldichte besitzt bei α = 57°, unterschiedlich von der Hauptorientierung. Dies trifft ebenfalls auf die (200) Polfigur bei α = 15° und 78° zu.

From Fig. 3 we understand that the (111) pole figure has a ring of low pole density at α = 57° different from the main orientation, so does the (200) pole figure at α = 15° and 78°. The analysis of the Cu wiring film based on the Orientation Distribution Function showed that besides [111], also the orientations [511] and [100] exist towards the Normal direction ND (Fig. 3). Thus it is possible to quantitatively analyze the oriented texture by calculating the volume fraction.
