This versatile boat that holds well the sea is suitable for a ballad or a drift fishing or wreck. If you are a beginner, opt for co-navigation, I will give you all the necessary advice to improve your nautical experience. You can make a 6-hour out-of-sea outing (you exit when the port is open) or a low sea outing of 7 to 12 hours. (You go out before the port closes and you enter when the port opens for the next tide). The port door opens, depending on the tides, about 3 hours before the open sea and closes 3 hours after the open sea. Timetables are available on the port of Guillaume de Dives-sur-mer (14160). The boat is a Jeanneau Merry Fisher Marlin 6 of 6.5m (Year 2012) with an outboard motor of 115 horses. (Revision 09/2016). It is equipped with a life raft, life line, VHF DSC, AIS receiver, depth sounder, GPS Garmin 720S, weather vane, anemometer, 6 self-inflating adult lifejackets and 6 children, chemical toilet. It has 24/7 assistance within 6 miles of the coastline and a KANNAD Safelink solo PLB GPS distress beacon. There is a large free parking lot located on the south side. The port is equipped with a self-service fuel pump (payment by CB) to refuel at your return (or payment by check / cash to the caitainerie). A water point is on the pontoon for rinsing the boat on your return. Fishing equipment on board: 2 canes + a few lures and a net 25 m. For bait fishing, plan your bottom line and bait. Fishing on wrecks on a semi-offshore outing is done only by co-navigation. If you rent the boat for at least 2 days, it is possible to set the fishing net (in co-navigation only, the coefficient of the tide must be less than 70). You will be able to sail along the Normandy coast and discover on your way to the East: Houlgate, the Cliffs of the Black Cows, Deauville, Honfleur, the Pont de Normandie, Le Havre, Cliffs of Etretat, And towards the West: Cabourg, Ouistreham, Courseulles-sur-mer and the landing beaches.
