Die WU nimmt weiterhin am Audit „hoch­schu­leund­fa­milie“ teil und strebt aktiv an, auf den Hand­­lungs­fel­dern Studi­en­or­ga­ni­sa­tion, Forschung und Lehre, Arbeits­zeit, Auszei­ten­ma­nage­ment, Ge­sund­heit und Employa­bi­lity, Kinder­be­treuung und Pflege weiter Zeichen in Rich­tung Fami­li­en­freun­d­­lich­keit zu setzen. Im Rahmen des Audi­tie­rungs­pro­zesses werden 2015 nach­hal­tig­keits­re­le­vante Vorhaben umge­setzt, unter anderem der Ausbau der Bera­tung zum Thema Betreu­ungs­pflichten im Rahmen von Beru­fungs­ver­hand­lun­­gen und Maßnahmen zur besseren Anbin­dung von karen­zierten Mitar­bei­tenden (z.B. „Karenz­früh­­stück“).

Demokratie und Menschenrechte; Ökologie/Klimapolitik, Internationale Zusammenarbeit, Gender, Bildungspolitik …) aktiv auseinander zu setzen. Im Rahmen eines Begleitprogramms bietet das Studienwerk den Stipendiat_innen zahlreiche Vernetzungsmöglichkeiten mit anderen Studierenden aus Deutschland und weltweit sowie mit Expert_innen aus der Stiftung.
