"Ich kann Dein Geklimper nicht ausstehen! Man sollte sowas verbieten! Das ist eine Schweinerei, Du Mistkerl! Scheissgitarre! Sich dir eine anständige Arbeit! So etwas von miesem Geschmack! Gitarre!"
"I can't stand your plunking! Something like this should be illegal! What an outrage, you bastard! Shit guitar! Find a decent job! What awful taste! Guitar!"

To date, everyone in Berlin has found their master! The gurus and lamas of the city advertise their courses, seminars and workshops on electrical boxes, advertising pillars and the walls of buildings. Those who claim that Berlin is the world capital of atheism are wrong! The fact that there are over 100 active religious communities in the city is often overlooked. These communities leave their marks on the cityscape, with the most obvious of these being the two large Christian churches. Furthermore, numerous synagogues, mosques and other places of worship are also worth visiting.

Let’s be honest: he is probably going to give you his advice whether you ask for it or not, but it just works so much better when you ask! Ask for his advice on Church activity, on classes, on friends, on school, on dating, on sports or other hobbies. Ask for his counsel on your Church assignments, on preparing for your mission, on decisions or choices you have to make. Nothing shows respect for another person as much as asking for his advice, because what you are really saying is, “I appreciate what you know and the experiences you have had, and I value your ideas and suggestions.” Those are nice things for a father to hear from his son.

There are few people. Sometimes dogs pass by. Silently. The dogs glance away, exactly as people with no weapons. Carefully and cautiously they run on the sidewalk, dispirited. In Iraq the dogs are different, more aggressive. Accustomed. These are not just yet. They weren’t expecting these things from people.

Once we are whole then we are called to be in communion. We are called to be in communion to give witness to the communion between God and us. And if you read the Acts of the Apostles they speak about how much the first Christians loved each other and what an impact they made on the thoughts and the minds of the people around them. The people would say: "Look how much they love each other." Well, we don't hear that much anymore about any group. We're not making an impact as Christians. We don't know what real love is. We don't know what a communion of hearts means. And Our Lady wants a communion of heart.

Each of these songs is both Marian-centered as well as have the honor of the Blessed Mother as its goal. However not only that these tracks were painstakingly put together, but it is a credit that although this was the first time such a thing was produced, it could still be reckoned as a great piece of music. In the production of this, Fr. Reginald Ibe (the Rector) was very instrumental with his fatherly advice, encouragement and a commendable painstaking insistence on ‘the best.’ He really did a good job. I shall now succinctly summarize each of the tracks to facilitate a better understanding:

I am a child of the media age, so this is a great honour and I am very flattered. I think you are particularly flattered if you get something from people you consider your peers. And I have been in the media business a long time, sometimes as a singer and sometimes writing for Giovanni (di Lorenzo) and Kai (Diekmann) and other people. But what happens in this Colloquium will become more important as the years go by. This year you’re discussing an East-West dialogue and some journalists asked me, would I prefer a North-South one.

“Composing is as essential a part of my being as breathing or eating.” That is how Sergei Rachmaninov described the importance of his creative output in his last interview, which he gave to an American magazine in 1941. One would think that a musician who says something like that about himself must have left behind a huge oeuvre, but the opposite is true. The catalogue of Rachmaninov’s works comprises only 45 opus numbers, and he composed no more than six works during the last 25 years of his life.

. Robert Schumann had come across the work among the composer’s unpublished scores only a few weeks earlier in Vienna, and this discovery was a turning point for him. Schubert’s last symphony provided Schumann with the hoped-for proof that even after the “titan” Beethoven, outstanding and important symphonies could still be composed. It inspired him to try his hand at a work in this genre himself in January 1841 – his “Spring” Symphony, which met with an enthusiastic response from the audience and critics. It seems only logical that, after this success, Schumann immediately devoted himself to the next genre with a long-established tradition. On 4 May 1841 he started composing a fantasy for piano and orchestra, attempting to reinterpret the tradition of the instrumental concerto.
