Montegonfoli has a very long history, begun more than four hundred years ago. Built in the seventeenth century and supported by a flourishing agricultural activity ,remained unchanged until our days, the farm has been converted in an "Agriturismo". Tourists coming from every part of the world, allowed us not to abandon our passion and tradition. Thanks to the touristic activity we were able to give new energy to the agricultural industry. Apart from the sowing cultivations, as wheat, sunflower, colza, we can dedicate ourselves to more than 800 olive trees to produce an excellent oil, and to four hectares of vineyard which produce excellent grapes, among which the very precious Vernaccia of San Gimignano from which the famous wine is produced, also known as "The Popes' wine"; first wine to obtain the doc certification in 1966. The old farmhouse, entirely restructured, has been divided into six comfortable apartments, all characterized by a remarkable space. The smallest one, suitable for four people, has a surface of about 60 square meters, while the biggest extends itself on 90 square meters (not including terraces and balconies).The apartments have progressive numbers based on their dimension. Montegonfoli 1 is the biggest, Montegonfoli 6 is the smallest, but not less comfortable. All of them in fact are provided with two bathrooms with shower each (only the number 5 has only one),large living rooms with kitchen areas, and spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Besides our guests are able to enjoy outside spaces furnished with tables and chairs, barbecue area and gazebos. The agriturismo also offers for all its guests a nice swimming pool (6x12m). The pleasant summer breeze and the height of the hill keep the environment fresh and cool, even in summer, so that it is not necessary to use air conditioning, also to preserve the esthetics of the building (no outside split), and above all to protect the worldwide climate reducing the carbon dioxide emissions. Our holiday farm, even though can guarantee total independence to our guests, can also ensures a series of services to support them. Our staff is keen on providing the best help to the hosts with kindness and continuity. The old shed has been restructured to lodge the bar and supply the hosts with a common indoor gathering area. The swimming pool, which offers panoramic view of San Gimignano, either from the borders and from inside, is opened from April to October. The wide car park allows everybody to find
