The POBAL exhibition ‘Working for an Irish Language Act in the North’ covers the work carried out over a period of years by the Irish speaking community to achieve its rights, culminating in the lengthy POBAL campaign for an Irish Language Act for the north.  Great interest has been shown in the exhibition since it’s launch on 4th August as part of POBAL’s West Belfast Festival events.  Since then it has shown in An Droichead, Coláiste Feirste, St Patrick’s Arts Centre in Downpatrick, An Carn in Maghera, and in supermarkets ASDA, Park Centre, Dairy Farm and The Westwood Centre.  If you are interested in bringing the exhibition to your centre, contact POBAL.
