This is the second album from Na Shandies, a group whose popularity has soared since the release of their first album, ‘An Cócónut’ (CIC 014) in 1989. Like that first album, ‘Rabhláil ins an Leaba’ features many popular modern English songs translated to Irish, plus some newly-composed songs and music. For the gentler souls among us they have translated ballads like ‘Mary From Dungloe’ and ‘The Wild Rover’.
