Mit dem Projekt "Weitsicht" gewann Bauart in Zusammenarbeit mit der Halter Entwicklungen AG den Wettbewerb für den Bau eines neuen Büro-, Industrie und Gewerbekomplexes in Thun. Mit seinem kompakten Volumen leistet das Projekt einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Verdichtung und der Entwicklung des sich im Umbruch befindlichen Quartiers.

The sector situated in the northern part of the city of Thun will be deeply transformed over the next few years. The actual military area will gradually turn into a business park. For the first stage of this significant urban development, a competition was organized for the construction of multifunctional buildings under the auspices of the RUAG company. The project "Weitsicht", created by Bauart in collaboration with the general contractor Halter Ltd, has been designated winner. The compact volumes fit into the site’s morphology like single elements. The approach integrates multiple sustainability considerations. The tower becomes a new urban landmark within this site undergoing a major transformation. It stands out for its solar façade, which enables excellent energy performance. In addition, it meets the requirements of the Minergie-ECO label. The emblematic building, whose identity is adapted to its vocation, expresses both functionality and generosity.

Le secteur situé au nord de la ville de Thoune va se transformer en profondeur dans les prochaines années et évoluer par étape d’une aire militaire à un parc d’activités. Pour la première étape de ce développement urbain important, un concours a été organisé pour la construction de bâtiments multifonctionnels sous l’égide de l’entreprise RUAG. C’est le projet « Weitsicht » du bureau Bauart, développé en collaboration avec l'entreprise totale Halter SA, qui a été désigné lauréat. Les volumes proposés sont compacts et s'insèrent comme des éléments particuliers dans la morphologie du site. La démarche intègre de multiples réflexions liées à la durabilité. Repère urbain pour ce site en pleine mutation, la tour se distingue notamment par une façade solaire pour atteindre d'excellentes performances énergétiques et répond aux exigences du label Minergie-ECO. Cet édifice emblématique, dont l'identité est adaptée à sa vocation, est empreint simultanément de fonctionnalité et de générosité spatiale.
