Marnhac për pranimin e ftesës për të vizituar Shqipërinë, me qellim për të shqyrtuar dërgimin e ekipit të hetuesve përsa i takon të gjithë pretendimeve të ngritura në raportin e Dik Martit, hetime të cilat siç biseduam sot, dhe ramë dakort, duhet të jenë shterruese, të arrijnë në një rezultat që të tregojë realitetin e të gjithë atyre pretendimeve të raportit të z.

Mr. Haxhinasto: First, I would like to thank Mr. Marnhac for accepting the invitation to visit Albania, in order to consider sending the team of investigators with regard to all claims raised in the report of Dick Marty, an investigation which as discussed today, and we agreed, must be exhaustive, arrive at a result that show the reality of all those claims of the report of Mr. Dick Marty. I want to appreciate the special role of EULEX in the direction of Mr. Marnhac played for the strengthening of institutions, the rule of law there, but especially the role it has played in recent years to manage the situation in northern Mitrovica and especially at the border crossings. We believe that the role of EULEX, together with the Government of Kosovo, with NATO, to coordinate the activities of these important institutions, is the only way to enforce the law and a legitimate Government of Kosovo to exercise its sovereignty throughout the territory of Kosovo. Speaking to the north of Kosovo I would like to emphasize and strongly condemn the terrorist act that happened this morning when an explosive was placed under the car of one of the translators of EULEX. We strongly condemn these acts. I think that is not the proper way to stabilize the situation there and to create better services for citizens of Kosovo regardless of their ethnicity. Today, with Mr. Marnhac we have talked about the future. I believe that Kosovo's independence, its conception in the process of European integration of Kosovo and the region is important to provide the concrete products for the people of Kosovo. I refer here to the visa liberalization process, which should begin as soon as possible in relations of Kosovo with the European Union. Once again I express my gratitude to Mr. Marnhac who accepted our invitation and guarantee that the Albanian Government and Albanian state institutions will be fully open and fully support to realize the mission to investigate the allegations of the report by Dick Marty in Albania.
