Als unsere Vorfahren im Winter auf die Alm gingen, um zu schauen, ob bei der Almhütte alles in Ordnung ist und das in den Hütten getrocknete Heu mit dem Schlitten ins Tal zu bringen, zogen sie die Schneeschuhe an, um den Anstieg leichter zu bewältigen.

When our ancestors walked up to the Alpine pastures in the winter to check that everything was ok with the hut, and when they then brought the hay dried up there down into the valley on sledges, they put on snowshoes to make the ascent easier. Thanks to their large footprint wearers make an impact in the snow. Some years ago snowshoes began to be used for sport and since then more and more people have started to use them for tours in the mountains. Snowshoe hikes combine the enjoyment of nature with activity!

Un tempo, quando i nostri antenati, d'inverno, salivano sulle malghe per controllare che nella baita tutto fosse a posto e per portare a valle il fieno con lo slittone, ai piedi mettevano le racchette da neve per facilitarsi la salita nella neve fonda. Infatti, così la superficie calpestata aumenta e si sprofonda di meno. Recentemente, le ciaspole sono state riscoperte come attrezzo sportivo e ora sono sempre di più le persone che le usano per le loro escursioni in montagna. Le ciaspolate, infatti, consentono di lasciarsi incantare dalla natura incontaminata facendo sport.
