Pra në këtë kuadër ne jemi duke zhvilluar një sërë takimesh me përfaqësuesit e institucioneve shtetërore, me ministritë, me KQZ-në, me partitë politike, me përfaqësues të medias, të shoqërisë civile dhe me përfaqësues të komunitetit ndërkombëtar në Shqipëri. Si rezultat i këtyre takimeve, ne do të dalim me një raport, i cili do të publikohet ne websiten e ODHIR-it.

Deputy Head of the ODIHR Elections Department, Mrs. Nicola Schmidt: First of all, I would like to thank the Minister for receiving us today. We are here in response to the invitation of the Albanian government to do what we call the needs assessment mission. We have just arrived and it is too early to talk about the pre-election or election situation in Albania. The aim of our visit is primarily to get acquainted with the situation and finally determine if ODIHR should or should not send an observer mission for the elections. Thus, in this framework, we are holding a series of meetings with representatives of state institutions, ministries, with the CEC, political parties, media representatives, civil society and representatives of the international community in Albania. As a result of these meetings, we will come out with a report, which will be published in the ODIHR website. This report will describe our findings and assessments on Albania and whether or not to send an observer mission.
