Al suo interno conserva alcuni tra i più bei gioielli naturali delle Dolomiti come il l’alpe di Fanes con il Lè Vërt, le baite di Senes e Fodara Vedla, i caratteristici strati del Sas dla Porta con vista mozzafiato sul Lago di Braies, le cascate della Val di Fanes e cime imponenti come il Sas dla Crusc e il Conturines.

Val Badia has the honour of hosting 2 of the 9 Dolomite sites which were declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in 2009. On the eastern face there's the park which according to the famous Ladin legends was home to the Kingdom of Fanes and the warrior Dolasilla. The Fanes-Sennes-Prags nature parks extends over an area of 25.260 hectares and is therefore the largest nature park in South Tyrol. Inside it has got some of the most beautiful natural jewels in the Dolomites such as the Fanes Alm with Lè Vërt, the Sennes and Fodara huts, the characteristic slabs of Sas dla Porta with a magnificent view of Lago di Braies lake, the climbs along Val di Fanes and the imposing peaks such as Sas dla Crusc and Conturines.

Das Gadertal hat die Ehre 9 Orte in den Dolomiten zu haben, die 2009 zum Weltnaturerbe UNESCO erklärt wurden. Im Osten befindet sich der Park, der vor sehr langer Zeit den Namen Rëgn de Fanes, also Fanesreich trug, in welchem, wie die Legende besagt, die berühmte Prinzessin Dolasilla kämpfte. Der Naturpark Fanes- Sennes- Prags erstreckt sich über 25.260 Hektar und stellt somit den größten Naturpark in Südtirol dar. Im Naturpark finden Sie einige der schönsten Naturjuwele der Dolomiten, wie die Fanes- Alm mit dem Lé Vërt (Grüner See), die Berghütten von Sennes und Fodara Vedla und die typischen Wände des Berges Sas dla Porta (Seekofel). Außerdem erwarten Sie eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Pragser Wildsee, die Wasserfälle des Fanes- Tales und majestätische Bergspitzen wie der Heiligkreuzkofel und die Conturines- Spitze.
