That the pseudo-foundation’s inclusion in the Registry of Foundations of CLM was confirmed by the Supreme Court of Spain doesn’t mean it exists at Antonio Saura’s behest. It was the political authorities of CLM who rushed to add the pseudo-foundation’s name to the registry following the artist’s death, even though they were aware of Antonio Saura’s position to the opposite effect, as it clearly emerges from his final wishes.

Si son inscription au Registre des fondations de CLM a été confirmée par le Tribunal suprême espagnol, cela ne veut pas dire qu’elle existe de par la volonté d’Antonio Saura. Ce sont les autorités politiques de CLM qui ont précipité l’inscription de la pseudo-fondation à la suite du décès de l’artiste, alors qu’elles connaissaient la position contraire d’Antonio Saura telle qu’elle ressort clairement de ses dernières volontés.

Leider ist es gang und gäbe, dass Namen und Bild eines berühmt gewordenen Künstlers zu dubiosen Zwecken kommerziell benutzt werden. Gravierender aber ist, dass die öffentlich-rechtlichen Behörden aktiv an diesen gesetzwidrigen Handlungen teilnehmen und die Personen oder Institutionen, die die Gesetze verletzen, unterstützen.

En un Estado de derecho, las autoridades de Castilla - La Mancha deberían haberse replanteado el fundamento del apoyo jurídico y financiero que proporcionan a la seudo-fundación, a expensas del contribuyente, y habida cuenta del fracaso de todas sus iniciativas procesales.
