The volume, published with the number 224 of the prestigious collection “Springer Proceedings in Mathematics and Statistics” of the publisher Springer, gathers in a total of 23 chapters and in a preface signed by Jorge Zubelli of the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, several selected contributions from the participants of the 4th International Conference on Dynamics, Games and Science (DGS IV) held in Madrid, Spain, in June 2016, and of the 8th Annual Berkeley Bioeconomy Conference 2015, held in Berkeley in April 2015.
