Abu Dhabi, UAE – November 9, 2016: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has entered into an agreement with Schlumberger, a world leader in drilling technology, to license ADNOC’s proprietary offshore drilling technology for use in Schlumberger’s portfolio of drilling services.

أبوظبي، 9 نوفمبر 2016: أبرمت شركة بترول أبوظبي الوطنية "أدنوك" اتفاقية لترخيص تقنيتها المبتكرة للحفر البحري مع شركة شلمبرجيه العالمية، وذلك تمهيداً لإدراج هذه التقنية ضمن مجموعة خدمات الحفر التي توفرها شلمبرجيه لعملائها حول العالم. وتحسّن تقنية "تثبيت الحفر العميق" إلى حد كبير عمليات الحفر في الحقول النفطية البحرية عبر تحسين ثبات الآبار وتقليص الوقت المطلوب للحفر، مع فرص نوعية لتوفير النفقات على الشركات العاملة.

An additional polypropylene plant – also in July 2017, it was announced that the new polypropylene plant (PP5) had moved into the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) tendering phase. The plant will be based on Borealis' proprietary Borstar® technology, and will be integrated with the existing Borouge 3 complex.
