The general secretary of the Iberian Association of Natural Gas for Mobility (GASNAM) Manuel Lage defended LNG as marine fuel as the most efficient, economic and real solution for shipping companies, within the second day of the Green Energy Ports Conference, celebrated in the Port of Vigo. Lage noted that LNG is the best option to comply with international regulations regarding the reduction of emissions in maritime transport, due to its environmental advantages.

El secretario general de la Asociación Ibérica de Gas Natural para la Movilidad (GASNAM), Manuel Lage defendió en Vigo el GNL como combustible marítimo como la solución más eficiente, económica y real para los navieros, dentro de segunda jornada de la Green Energy Ports Conference que se celebra estos días en el puerto gallego. Lage destacó que el GNL es la mejor opción para cumplir con las normativas internacionales referentes a la reducción de emisiones en el transporte marítimo, debido a sus ventajas ambientales. Además, su uso genera beneficios económicos en los costes operativos y mantenimiento del buque durante todo su ciclo de vida.
