For many years, Hans Josephsohn has had his works produced in the Kunstgiesserei St. Gallen AG established by Felix Lehner, which also made the Kesselhaus Josephsohn possible. This cooperation has yielded a rich store of experience and knowledge related to the work of Josephsohn. The work of Hans Josephsohn is thus well represented by the Galerie Felix Lehner AG.

Lena Henke is an intense person with a hunger for knowledge, who likes to think in large dimensions and contexts, but, in doing so, never loses sight of consciously positioning her work in art history and the tradition of sculpture. She explores and delves into her respective surroundings with an open mind. She consequently also immediately absorbed the creative environment of the Sitterwerk and the neighboring Kunstgiesserei and incorporated them in her creative process.

Bereits seit den Anfängen des Kesselhaus Josephsohn wurde zudem ein grosses Konvolut von Josephsohns Frühwerk provisorisch im Keller gelagert. So hat sich ein grosser Bedarf nach weiteren Ausstellungs- und Lagerräumen für Josephsohns Werk entwickelt.
In recent years, it has been possible to view Josephsohn's work with him in the studio and to safeguard and process it in various storage spaces in Zurich. Many works have been brought to St.Gallen, where they are restored and some of them realized in metal. The plaster originals are retained and presented in part in the Kesselhaus. Already since the beginnings of the Kesselhaus Josephsohn, an extensive collection of Josephsohn's early work had been stored provisionally in the cellar. A great need for additional exhibition and storage space for Josephsohn's work thus developed.
