«Enseignant dans l’école de demain» est un projet du FSE mené à bien dans la ville polonaise d’Elbag. Il a pour objectif d’adapter les qualifications des enseignants et des formateurs aux besoins du développement régional, notamment pour relever le défi posé par les changements démographiques. Ce projet cible deux groupes importants. Le premier regroupe des professeurs et des formateurs de l’enseignement professionnel âgés de plus de 45 ans, à qui des formations personnalisées, portant sur l’évolution du marché du travail et l’utilisation des technologies industrielles modernes, sont dispensées. Par exemple, les cours abordent les techniques de conception les plus récentes, le nouveau matériel didactique et les systèmes de production modernes. Ils comprennent également des visites sur les sites des usines qui mettent en œuvre ces nouvelles technologies. Le deuxième groupe important est constitué de professeurs d’enseignement général qui bénéficient d’un financement pour suivre des études de 3e cycle et des cours de maîtrise dans les domaines considérés comme prioritaires pour les besoins de la région.
