The training programme included both theoretical aspects regarding the specificity of children at risk, as well as techniques and methods of intervention in working with children placed in centers or those in the streets. One new method learned by the participants was that of group psycho-social activities. Also, they acquired specific techniques of play and intervention with children who exhibit aggressive behaviours. The professionals have as well been engaged in a practical exercise related to trauma and its consequences on child behaviour and development. This activity has the purpose of developing profssionals' abilities to meet the specific needs of children at risk.
