Taucher mit Fischauge: Der See ist etwa 6 °C kalt. Das meist glasklare Wasser vermittelt einem das Gefühl, schwerelos im Raum zu schweben. Der Seegrund ist mit feinen Sedimenten bedeckt, die leicht aufgewirbelt werden, wenn die Tarierung unsachgemäss ist.

The bottom of the lake is covered with smooth sediments and should not be touched. Wenn man gemütlich am Ufer entlang taucht, hat man den See in etwa 45 Minuten umrundet. Der See ist das ganze Jahr hindurch etwa 6–10 °C kalt. Im Südwesten und im Westen erstreckt sich die Berkgette Bunderspitz (2546m) — First (2548m) — Elsighore (2341m) und lässt die Sonne an den kurzen Wintertagen leider schon früh untergehen.

Blue Lake is a mountain lake in the Kandergrund community in the Bernese highlands. It gets the water by an underwater source and therefore the water is pretty clear and typical blue. It's a tourist attraction in that area and in private property of the nearby hotel and used for trout breeding. Diving is only permitted in the winter months after 17:00. Maximum depth is about 13 in the center of the lake. The edges with sunken trees are more mor interesting. One can surround the lake in about 45 minutes while diving.
